Course Description
Course Outline: This course provides the Executive user with training on features used in Project Web Access for Project 2007. The delegate will understand how to view programmes and projects via Web Access, and see how they can be reported on by using project attributes and categories. Through Web Access, the delegate can also view Enterprise project data via Data Alaysis views thus enhancing his/her understanding of the effect of individual projects on the overall database of projects. In conjunction with functionality training, labs are used to provide each delegate with hands-on experience.
Who Should Attend: Executives & Stakeholders who need to view project programme and portfolio information, resource capacity and loading data, and graphical reports, as well as being able to make key decisions using this data. No previous experience is assumed or is necessary.

Project Server architecture and overview.
How data is exchanged between Microsoft Project Professional 2007, Project Server and viewed in PWA. How users/ stakeholders without Microsoft Project 2007 can interact with the Project Server database. The features of Project Web Access that are most helpful in tracking a projects progress and reporting progress. This includes Project Server’s timesheet capability, reporting of actual hours and percent complete, establishing and using auto-accept rules, and the creation and dissemination of status reports.
